DONOR TESTING
All donors are submitted to the following tests:
- Blood test
- Cardiovascular examination
- Blood type
- Rhesus status
- Hemoglobin electrophoresis
- Hepatitis B (HBsAG)
- Hepatitis C (HCV)
- HIV I-II (AIDS)
- RPR (syphilis)
- Karyotype test
- PCR for CTRF (85% of known mutations) (Cystic Fibrosis)
- PCR for 35 Delg about inherited aids (Inherited hearing loss)
- Chlamydia (Urine)
- Psychological evaluation
